Son demasiados naufragios. Los expertos dan la voz de alarma tras los últimos accidentes acontecidos en las costas españolas, alertando de que quizás se trate de algo más que de una mera coincidencia. Un barco escorado con el saco de pesca en el costado de estribor.
Según ha manifestado alguno de los supervivientes, el ”Mar Nosso” volcó en un minuto”. "No hubo tiempo para nada".
Parece ser que estaban virando el aparejo, o sea, metiendo el saco de pesca a bordo. En el saco, según parece, venía una buena captura de caballa. El "Mar Nosso" es un arrastrero, pero se dedicaba en el momento del accidente a la pesca de la caballa, es decir, al arrastre entre dos aguas. Este sistema de pesca es conocido técnicamente como arrastre pelágico. La caballa, verdel o xarda, que así se llama, es un túnido, no es un pez de fondo. El cardumen o enjambre de caballas navega entre dos aguas, y en ese espacio hay que pescarlo.

Personal income tax has risen in 25 out of 34 OECD countries over the past three years, as countries reduce the value of tax-free allowances and tax credits and subject higher proportions of earnings to tax, according to new data in the annual Taxing Wages publication.
The increases in tax burdens on labour income in 2013 were largest in Portugal (due to higher statutory rates), the Slovak Republic (due to higher employer social security contributions) and the United States (due to expiry of previous reductions in employee social security contributions).

Former STX chief under arrest for alleged graft

The former head of the financially troubled shipping and shipbuilding conglomerate STX Group was formally detained this week pending trial over alleged embezzlement and business malpractice.
Kang Duk-soo, who headed the group from 2003 to February 2014, is accused of funneling the funds of STX Heavy Industries Co., a troubled shipbuilder unit, to illegally support other ailing affiliates, including STX Construction Co. and STX Dalian Co., and misappropriating company money to bribe politicians.
The Seoul Central District Court approved the prosecutors' request for an arrest warrant for the 64-year-old former chairman after holding a hearing.
"There is legal ground for his criminal charges and this case is very grave," Judge Yoon Gang-yeol said in issuing the warrant.
