La autoría y responsabilidad de este atentado, que costó la vida a tres marinos españoles, el capitán y dos oficiales, y lesiones a otros seis tripulantes y provocó una intensa reacción emocional en España y tuvo importantes repercusiones
Canada finds Franklin ship that disappeared in Arctic

TORONTO — Canada has found one of the two sunken British ships from Sir John Franklin's 1845 expedition that disappeared in the Arctic, parts of the deck and mainmast intact.
The wreck was discovered about 36 feet below the surface in Queen Maud Gulf, off the Nunavut mainland, about 1,800 miles north of Toronto, said John Geiger, chief executive officer of The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, which participated in the search.
"This is one of the two most important undiscovered shipwrecks in the world," Geiger said today in a statement. "It's a wonderful and exciting discovery that promises to shed more light on the ill-fated expedition's final months, weeks, and days."

Fragmentos de un buque mercante fenicio, que data aproximadamente del 700 año a.C., fueron descubiertos cerca de la isla Gozo (Malta) a una profundidad de 120 metros. Es el barco más antiguo hallado en el mar Mediterráneo, informa el periódico The Times.
En efecto, el hallazgo fue hecho hace un par de meses, pero los arqueólogos lo guardaron en secreto. De momento es difícil sacar la nave del fondo marino debido a que yace
