ThyssenKrupp and Seafort Advisors GmbH have entered into an agreement on the sale of the Emder Werft und Dockbetriebe shipyard in Emden. ThyssenKrupp began looking into alternative strategic options for the company at the end of 2013 as part of the Group's strategic way forward. The aim was to find a way of continuing the repair business outside the Group against the background of the decision to focus ThyssenKrupp's shipbuilding operations on surface vessels and submarines. El Tribunal General de la Unión Europea rechazó ayer el recurso de los astilleros holandeses que solicitaba a Bruselas la anulación del nuevo régimen fiscal español especial (Tax Lease). Éste fue recurrido el 8 de marzo de 2013 por la Netherland Maritime Association (Asociación de astilleros holandeses), que consideraba que este régimen permite a España un descuento de entre el 20 y el 30 por ciento sobre el precio de construcción del buque.


Esta sentenciamarca un antes y un después en este conflicto, que inició otra asociación de constructores de barcos danesa al considerar ayudas de Estado el anterior sistema español de Tax Lease, que se empleó entre 2001 y 2011, lo que dio lugar a la apertura
