El juez ha dado la razón a los fondos acreedores en el rescate de Naviera Armas. Ha acordado autorizar el plan de rescate de la naviera, que supone que tomen el 80% del capital y reduzcan su pasivo, de 445,9 millones. El plan supone también dejar a Santander, CaixaBank y Sabadell sin un euro de los 64 millones que inyectaron en la firma con aval del ICO.

CMA CGM Indianapolis is the French group's first car carrier (China Merchants Jinjing)

China Merchants’ Jinling Shipyard in Weihai delivered the CMA CGM Indianapolis on December 20, the first of four dual-fuel LNG-powered car carriers that will be operated by the French shipping company.  CEVA Logistics, part of the CMA CGM Group, confirmed in May 2023 its plan to enter the segment as part of the French group’s efforts to expand operations through diversification.

The car carrier was handed over to Eastern Pacific Shipping of Singapore which will be chartering the vessel to CMA CGM. Three sister ships are due for delivery in 2024 and are part of a larger 16-ship order

Seaspan y Hyundai Glovis unieron fuerzas para encargar seis grandes vehículos de transporte de automóviles y camiones de combustible dual de GNL a Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS) de China.

El acuerdo para los PCTC con una capacidad de 10.800 ceu también incluye una opción para cuatro buques adicionales, según Atlas, la empresa matriz de Seaspan.

Además de la propulsión de combustible dual de GNL, los PCTC estarán preparados para amoníaco y metanol, dijo.

Chinese shipbuilder Hudong-Zhonghua has handed over the 13,000-teu LNG-powered containership, CMA CGM Bahia.

The naming and delivery ceremony for the LNG-powered vessel took place on December 7, according to the Chinese shipbuilder.

This is the first of six 13,000-teu LNG-powered containerships Hudong-Zhonghua built for French shipping giant CMA CGM.

It is 336 meters long, 51 meters wide, and has a designed speed of 21 knots and a maximum capacity of 13,200 TEUs.

Moreover, the new LNG-powered vessel features GTT’s Mark III containment system and the world’s first CMD-WinGD 9X92DF-2.0 iCER main engine, Hudong-Zhonghua said.

The vessel’s LNG tanks have a capacity of 14,000 cbm.

Hudong-Zhonghua said CMA CGM Bahia will also become the largest dual-fuel containership operating on the South American route.

The shipbuilder and Jiangnan Shipyard are each building six LNG-powered ships for CMA CGM as part of a deal revealed in April 2021,

but the six vessels at Jiangnan have a capacity of 15,000 units.
