Velero Gulden Leeuw
El Gulden Leeuw es una de las goletas de tres mástiles con velas de gavia más grandes del mundo y nuestro nuevo orgullo. Se unió a nuestra flota en la temporada 2025/2026 de Masterskip, ¡y estamos encantados! Construida en 1937, fue completamente restaurada en 2009 y convertida en buque escuela. Y eso es admirable, porque solo el trabajo en equipo y mucha fuerza física permiten gobernar este barco.
Propiedades
Con casi 70 metros de eslora, el Gulden Leeuw es un impresionante buque, y sus 1400 m² de superficie vélica lo convierten en una embarcación rápida con un excelente rendimiento a vela. Su versátil aparejo combina las ventajas de la vela cuadrada y la vela de proa a popa, lo que

The University of Gibraltar welcomed international experts, industry leaders, and policymakers for the first outreach event of the International Sea Power Conference 2025, positioning Gibraltar at the centre of critical conversations on the future of global shipping.
Hosted in partnership with the Council on Geostrategy and the Royal Navy, the event — themed “The Future of International Merchant Shipping” — addressed the challenges and opportunities shaping one of the world’s most vital industries.
